Poppy Seed and Lemon Pepper Chicken

[ Serves 4 ]


  • 4 each Chicken Breast
  • 2 tbsp Poppy seeds
  • 2 tsp Lemon Pepper
  • 100 gms chopped Onion
  • 30 gms chopped Garlic
  • ½ kilo shredded Red Cabbage
  • 3 tsp clear Honey
  • 3 each potatoes
  • 2 bunches Spinach
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 20 gms Mint
  • 100 gms Green Peas
  • 50 ml Amul Cream
  • 2 each Bay Leafs
  • 4 each Cloves
  • Seasoning as required


  1. Marinate the chicken breast with poppy seeds and lemon pepper (powder). Keep aside.
  2. Boil the red cabbage with bay leaf, cloves, sugar and honey until the red cabbage cooked thoroughly.
  3. Boil the whole peeled Potatoes and slice into 3  slices each potatoes and season with olive oil and paprika.
  4. Take a hot pan with olive oil, sauté onion, garlic, peas, mint, spinach and Heavy cream. Cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Blend the mixture to make a green sauce and season.
  6. Pan sear the chicken breast or bake the chicken breast for 160c for 25 min.
  7. Assemble the plate with 3 each slice of paprika potatoes and centered the cabbage then set the chicken on toof the cabbage and green sauce shown in the picture.
  8. Garnish with sautéed spinach.
