- 500g shrimp, cleaned
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- ½ medium onion chopped
- 1 garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp cognac (optional)
- ½ mustard
- 1 tbsp paprika
- ¼ cup concentrated tomato paste
- 150 gms Tomato (blanched, deseeded and roughly chopped)
Step 1 – Season shrimp with a little salt and pepper, lemon juice and garlic.
Step 2 – Using a saucepan, heat olive oil, sauté onions and garlic. Keep sautéing during ½ minutes and add shrimps, paprika and blackpepers .Still keeping sautéing and add chopped deseeded tomato. Cook for 5 minutes until the moisture evaporated then add tomato paste with warm water and reduce heat to low. Add mustard and whipping cream. Stir well. Sprinkle with parsley.
Serve with rice and potato sticks
